Mark H. DeLegge is a Gastroenterologist and is Professor of Medicine at the Medical University of South Carolina Digestive Disease Center. He is Director of the Section of Nutrition and Director of the Digestive Disease Center.

Beyond his expertise in gastroenterology, Dr. DeLegge's areas of expertise encompass nutrigenomics, optimizing nutrient intake, enteral nutrition, enteral access, parenteral nutrition, and home nutrition support.

• He publishes extensively and conducts clinical research. He has written many articles and book chapters in nutrition and is a frequent requested lecturer.
• Member of many prestigious organizations including the American Gastroenterological Association, where he serves on the clinical practice committee, the American College of Gastroenterology, the American Society of Parenteral and Enteral Nutrition, and the American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, where he serves as chairman of the Enteral Nutrition Special Interest Group.
