Ingredients of Samosa Chaat

  1. You need of Chana.
  2. Prepare 1 can of white chickpeas.
  3. It's Half of cup onion.

  7. It's 2 pinches of salt.

  12. Prepare of Vegetable oil for cooking.
  13. You need of Tamarind Sauce (if making from scratch).

  1. Heat 2tbs oil in a pan. Add onions and chillies. Add to pan and allow to sauté for few minutes.
  2. Add washed chickpeas and mix nicely. After this add your tomatoes (optional) and cook..
  3. After mixing add spices listed in ingredients and mix well. Add little bit of water and allow to simmer..
  4. Make sure your samosas have been fried at this point and cut them in small pieces (Does not need to be precise) and add them in the pan, and mix a bit until cooked.
  5. For the tamarind sauce, get a bunch of tamarind and soak in boiling water for 5 mins. This will allow the seeds to be removed and drain the liquids out to give the tangy taste. Sieve and remove any hard bits. Add pinch of salt and mix..
